What this site does and does not collect.

Your hardware choices stay on your device

The checker runs in your browser. The game, graphics card and processor you pick are not sent to us. The site remembers your last graphics card, processor and memory in your browser’s local storage so you do not have to pick them again; clear your site data to remove them. The Detect button reads the graphics card name your browser reports and matches it locally.

What our host can see

Like any website, the server that delivers these pages keeps ordinary access logs (IP address, page, time). We use them to keep the site running and to spot abuse.

Fonts and pictures

Pages load fonts from Google Fonts, and game pictures straight from Steam's servers, which means your browser contacts Google and Steam when a page loads. We do not pass either of them anything about you beyond what any browser sends.

Cookies and analytics

This site sets no cookies of its own and has no advertising or analytics. If we add them, this page will say so before they go live.

Reports you send us

If you use the small i button to report a missing game or part, we store what you type (the name, your notes and, if you add it, an email address) together with the page you were on and a time stamp. We use it to add the item and, if you left an address, to tell you when it is done. We keep reports for as long as they are useful and delete them on request. Spam protection uses a hashed form of your IP address that cannot be turned back into the address.

Steam

Game requirements are obtained from the Steam store. Powered by Steam, a Valve service. We are not affiliated with or endorsed by Valve.
